Here at our Camping am Waldbad in Dellach amidst nature, you can start your day of adventures starting right at your pitch. Spend a fantastic day of exploration in our exciting holiday region at the Drau river.
Enjoy hikes up the most beautiful paths leading up to wonderful gems of nature in our region. Explore the many fantastic destinations such as the Geislochklamm, the environmentally protected Weittal-waterfall or our local mountain the "Knoten".
The famous Weissensee lake, a stop on the "Alternative 11 City Tour" during winter, is only about 20 km away.
The vibrant and charming East Tyrolean city Lienz is only a 25-minute drive away.
A special highlight is a trip to Hl. Blut (transl. "Holy Blood"), at the foot of the highest mountain in Austria, the majestic Großglockner (3.798m).
With the convenient Carinthia Card you can explore the many exciting attractions, museums, adventure worlds, and glacier rides and take advantage of the free entrances and many discounted rates. The Carinthia Card is available here at our camping site.
An E-car is available in Dellach im Drautal. At FLUGS you can book the e-car online at reasonable prices. The parking lot and the FLUGS filling station are located at the municipal office, Dellach 18, 9772 Dellach im Drautal. Another e-filling station is located at the "M-Preis" supermarket in the village.
The train, which runs hourly from Dellach im Drautal in the direction of Lienz or Spittal, to Villach and Klagenfurt, offers a convenient way to explore the surrounding area. Here are some points to note:
The timetable can be seen at the train station in Dellach or online on the Austrian Federal Railways website . Tickets can also be purchased at the station or online. Bicycle transport offers the opportunity to explore the surrounding area on two wheels. This is particularly attractive for nature excursions and exploratory tours. It is not necessary to make a reservation for the bicycles on the train.
