Dellach is situated at 606m above sea-level amidst the Gailtaler Alps, the rugged Jauckenhöhe summit in the south, and the Kreuzeckgruppe mountain range in the north with the local mountains Mokarspitze and the Knoten peak.
The most beautiful mountain and hiking tours in the region are perfectly processed in the Outdooractive tour portal or MapExplorer directions, length and duration of the route, incline, tour sheets to print out and GPS tracks to download.
From april till october, our mountain guide Wolfi leads you to the summits in the area! Free for all! Have fun!
The alpine school Go Vertical with Simon and his team offer guided tours on the climbing route Pirkner Klamm. It is a 10-minute drive from the campsite and is only accessible with climbing equipment.
The alpine school also offers guided tours on Austria´s highest mountain, the Großglockner.
Explore our picturesque region on bike along the beautiful Drau bike path, which is suitable for your entire family. In case you prefer to explore on foot, you can walk or run in the nearby Movement Arena. The bike rental is located directly at the campsite!
Family-fun is ensured on the Drau river, where guests can venture out on a canoe accessing the Drau paddle route to be accessed directly from our camping site. After a thrilling ride along the river, guests can return back to the camping site by train or simply bike back.
For an action-packed afternoon we highly recommend the thrilling rafting tours offered by COOL´s outdoor adventures in Lienz. They offer a choice of tours and activities, including family tours suitable for children, ensuring thrilling days spent here at our camp site.
Another exciting adventure we recommend is a canyoning tour in the Gnoppnitzbach river.
With such spectacular scenery, hikers' hearts skip a beat at the many possibilities to explore the many panoramic paths, themed hiking trails, and long-distance trails such as the Jakobsweg, Heinrich Hechtweg, and the Sunseit'n hiking path.
Paragliding is a thrilling experience and the Emberger Alm is renowned as one of the best paragliding areas in Europe.
Enjoy a game of tennis or golf here in this picturesque alpine setting. In addition, there are plenty of attractions to explore in our versatile region, best accompanied by your Kärnten Card.
